Pembrokeshire Beaches – Award winning selection of beautiful beaches.
Folly Farm – Winners of the ‘Best Family Day Out in Wales’ Award 2015. Indoor and outdoor activities, real working farm experience with many animals including giraffes, lions and penguins. Great fun! No dogs allowed. SA68 0XA
Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park – Just a five minute drive from the house is this 175 acre deer park with in and outdoor play areas, cinema barn, nature and safari experiences, country walks and solar powered vehicles. SA70 8RB
Theatr Mwldan – Cinema and theatre in Cardigan. Great for a wet day. SA43 1JY
Manor Wildlife Park – Anna’s Welsh Zoo has plenty of things to do and animals to see. Less than a mile from the house. SA70 8RJ
Celtic Quest Coasteering – a water based activity centre on the Pembrokeshire coast. Won the best visitor experience in Wales award. SA62 6DT
Sea Kayak Guides – Sea kayaking in Pembrokeshire – base address at SA62 6TE
Battlefield Live – Paintball and Laser Combat. Also off-road remote control buggies and archery. SA67 8QJ
Dinosaur Park – Indoor and outdoor activities, including 30 dinosaur models to discover in the woods. Just up the road! SA70 8RB
Hangar 5 – Indoor trampoline park. Great for a wet day! Booking advisable. SA62 4BY
Phoenix Bowl Milford Haven – Ten pin bowling centre with bar, restaurant and indoor soft play. Another great rainy day idea. Combine it with a visit to the museum. SA73 3AF
Caldey Island – Tickets can be bought in person on the day of travel (not in advance or online) from Tenby Harbour from Easter to the end of October. Ferry takes approximately 20 minutes.
Gardens, Places & Walks
National Botanic Garden of Wales – The most visited garden in Wales. An amazing collection of over 8000 different plant varieties, spread across 560 acres of countryside. SA32 8HN
Aberglasney House and Gardens – One of the finest gardens in Wales. SA32 8QH
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path Walks – The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is 186 miles of stunning coastal scenery. There are some spectacular sites such as St Govans, Stack Rocks etc (see below)
St Davids – the UK’s smallest city. Must see Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace to explore, shops, pubs, cafes and stunning beaches. Busy in the summer months.
Narberth — Nice town to explore with a castle, impressive architecture, independent shopping, cafes and restaurants. Voted no. 2 in The Telegraphs 2024 ’12 of Britains most perfect market towns’.
Ffynone Waterfall – Just under an hour away is this fairytale waterfall, easily reached by a short flat walk. You can swim right up to the waterfall and its a really beautiful spot. SA37 0HQ
Stack Rocks (Elegug Stacks) & The Green Bridge of Wales – Dramatic natural rock feature. Access is through an army tank range so check this is passable to the public prior to travel (Gov.uk website). SA71 5EB
St Govans Chapel – A three mile coastal walk from Stack Rocks is this beautiful chapel. SA71 5DR
Huntsmans Leap – Half a mile from the St Govan Chapel car park and less than a ten minute walk from the chapel itself is an amazing rock formation which is one of the best UK sea cliff climbing locations.
Skomer Island – Largest breeding colony of seabirds in the world. It is home to 40,000 Puffins that return to the island every Spring. Click on link to visit official day trip operator – the only way you can land on the island.
Lawrenny Quay – Very pretty wooded, waterside location where you can stop for a drink, meal and walk. Seasonal tea rooms. Also, when driving from St Florence the visit provides an opportunity to visit the very picturesque Cresselly Arms for a drink. Named CAMRA best pub in Wales in 2024. Please note that dogs not allowed in the pub.
Historical Interest
Dan yr Ogof Showcaves – National Showcaves Centre for Wales. Dogs allowed. SA9 1GJ
The Dylan Thomas Boathouse – Laugharne. See where Dylan Thomas lived during the last four years of his life. It was in this house that he wrote many major pieces. SA33 4SD – Dogs are permitted into the garden/terrace on a short lead.
Pembroke Castle – Medieval Castle and the birthplace of Henry VII. Interesting labyrinth of passageways and towers, including the 75ft high Great Keep and Wogan Cavern. Cafe. SA71 4LA

Creative Pottery Cafe Narberth – Somewhere to go if it’s raining. Dogs are welcome! SA67 7BT
Tenby Museum and Art Gallery – Museum and art gallery. SA70 7BP
Tim Bowen Antiques – Welsh and British country furniture, folk art and contemporary Welsh art. The gallery is situated in the estuary village of Ferryside which is at the mouth of the river Towy just south of Carmarthen. Open every Friday and Saturday 10am – 5pm and at any other time by appointment. SA17 5SS

Waterfront Gallery Milford Haven – housed in a grade II listed building on the dockside, this interesting gallery promoting Welsh arts and crafts. SA73 3AF
